Occupation – Self employed - Web Designer
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia

I was raised in the Halifax area of Nova Scotia and have been employed in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, as well as occasional work in United States.

I have helped raise six new members of our Canadian family; Shauna, Aaron, Shawn, Devon, Brendan and Angela and have five wonderful grandchildren. I presently live in the Salt Springs area of Nova Scotia with my wife and life partner, Monica.

I began my working career as an electrician in Halifax where I designed and built my first family home. Later I was employed as an electrical and instrumentation contract manager in the construction of power plants, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, and various manufacturing industries. In 1999, I began to develop the skills necessary for web design and internet outreach as a new educational tool for higher learning.  Presently, I am working in the current creative technologies of web design and the advancing information and communication platforms available to the peoples of the world through the present internet technologies now serving a large portion of the world family.

Because of increasing concerns over the direction the political, economic and social affairs of Canada have been taking since 1973, I have made the decision to seek the high honour of public service in the Government of Canada. Upon making this decision, I have also decided that the Canadian Action Party is the most active political platform for the changes and redirection necessary to bring about the civil evolutionary adaptations and progressive ideals essential to meet the growing moral and ethical fibre of the majority of Canadians. I see this Party as also capable of bringing into real life experience the dreams, aspirations and hopes of the Canadian family. A strong, well-educated, secure, and free Canada. We are in need of a government which the people under a new voice of the people policies can wisely participate in the management of government and become more active in guiding and controlling elected leaders  - a government we can actually trust.

I will be entering public life as a candidate for the Canadian Action Party presently considering Central Nova as the riding of choice, since this is our own riding for 22 years.  While I am new to an active political life, I am not new to life in Canada or to a deep understanding of the executive, legislative and judicial values and balance of power needed to promote and secure the rights and liberties of all Canadians. I also understand that the high social and economic values of the Canadian people are not presently being used to guide and control our elected representatives.

Being an advocate of education from the cradle to the grave, I am a sincere student of life itself and have spent many hours seeking deeper understanding of the evolutionary origin, history and destinies of modern day civilization. The previous ages of mankind were all devoted to the quest for survival. Today with the advent and advantages of the scientific era we in Canada and in other nations of the world are just passing out of the age for the quest for a standard of living, and in very recent times many of the world's people are now engaging the age of the quest for quality of thinking. It is my hope that I may contribute to this new age of mankind through this progressive avenue of political service to the Canadian family.

I see this fast-rising Canadian Action Party as an addition of power to the representative goal of a true democracy and a great Canadian nation.

If one of us craves freedom -- liberty -- we must remember that all other men and women long for the same freedom. Groups of such liberty-loving people cannot live together in peace without becoming subservient to such laws, rules, and regulations as will grant each person the same degree of freedom while at the same time safeguarding an equal degree of freedom for all. If one of us is to be absolutely free, then another must become an absolute slave. And the relative nature of freedom is true socially, economically, and politically. Freedom is the gift of civilization made possible by the enforcement of LAW. Presently our elected representatives are acting outside of this rule of law. Justice must be fairly applied to every member of the Canadian family, including our elected representatives, our public servants, our military personal and the members of our local police stations.

My choice of the Canadian Action Party is because of its willingness to take the high moral ground and be directly honest regarding the necessary changes that need to be made to safeguard a true and representative government in Canada, and because it is directly addressing the three tyrannies that are challenging the freedoms, rights and liberties of not only the people of Canada, but is now threatening the lives of all liberty-loving and law-abiding peoples of other nations. These three tyrannies have been on the forefront of the minds of all Canadians but have been ignored by all parties in Canada. These tyrannies as I see and understand them are as follows:

1. / Political Tyranny: Liberty can be enjoyed only when the will and whims of human rulers are replaced by legislative enactments in accordance with accepted fundamental law. No civil government will be serviceable and effective unless the citizenry possess and use wise techniques of guiding and controlling officeholders and public servants.

2. / Economic Tyranny: Economic slavery is the wealthy few ruling over the unfortunate many, when this occurs government has become unthinkingly oppressive and retrograde. Allowing unelected and unaccountable persons and unseen business partners to rule over our right to have full control over our own economic stability, social activities and destiny as a unique nation. (think SPONSORSHIP SCANDAL; the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) and Banking Fraud the misuse and non use of the Bank of Canada to secure Canada's economic future). True representative government assumes THE RIGHT OF CITIZENS TO BE HEARD.  The privilege of petition is inherent in FREE CITIZENSHIP.  It is not enough to be heard - THE POWER OF PETITION must progress to THE ACTUAL MANAGEMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT. Only the Canadian Action Party is promising the people of Canada a new and frequent access to vote through public referenda on issues important to the average citizen of Canada, the majority. The re-activation of the Bank of Canada will free our children from the tyranny of wealth without work and politics without principles imposed by international bankers unthinking politicians and their modern day thief, interest debt.

3./Police/Military Rule: The last, but not least, tyranny that can and will destroy the whole of modern day civilization ending in World War III and our rights to security, freedom and liberty, is the growing military activities (even our local police forces are taking on the look and feel of armies rather than keepers of the peace) of all those who have placed their faith in the might of armies and a world wide military police state must be defeated, bullets must give way to ballots. War is strong medicine, very costly, and most dangerous; while in the past with more immature societies it was often curative of certain social disorders, it often killed the patient and destroyed the society. In the light of modern day science and the atomic age, war has now become racially suicidal. That is, war will end in the death of all who embrace it as a method of advancing civilization, and as a method of resolving the complex problems of modern day civilization, problems that can only be solved only through non violent methods. The only victor in wars are the peacekeepers and the peacemakers, those who fight the good fight to prevent war and those who fight to end wars. Peace on earth is their battle cry.

As a member of the Canadian Action Party, I will participate in representing the will of the people of Canada in order to regain the dignity of our world reputation as a world power for Peace. I will also work to secure the safety of our citizens abroad by our reputation among the world's people as a nation that chooses the high moral ground where we can work to advance civilization as peacekeepers who refuse to engage in military adventures in other lands for selfish gains and vainglorious pride.

It is important in this next election for the people of Canada to recognize the fact that our actions are our final decisions. Evaluate your political leaders past, present and future by what they actually do, and not by the double dealing standards of personal gain and self interest; saying one thing to the people of Canada to gain the popular vote only to transform into a dictatorship when once in power, shows that their heart is set on serving unelected and unaccountable social and economic corporate managers, CEO's and international bankers.

Let me state a recent example: the Liberals take us to war in Afghanistan and now claim they are against the war. (What action did they take and does it represent the will of the people?) It is the duty and privilege of every member of our government and especially the leaders of our government to ensure the greatest good for the greatest number of people over the longest period of time. We are representing the majority. It is the highest honour of all occupations of service to the world’s people to be elected to a place of trust over our common affairs by our fellows. The survival of democracy is dependent upon successful representative government, and that is conditioned upon the practice of electing to public office only those individuals who are technically trained, intellectually competent, socially loyal, and morally fit. Only by such provisions can government of the people, by the people, and for the people be preserved and, remember also, that representative government is unthinkable without freedom of all forms of expression for human aspirations and opinions.

The Canadian Action Party once empowered by the people of Canada will work together with the people of Canada to make our government more in keeping with our Canadian ideals, hopes and aspirations moving away from negative government where the differentials between the will of the people and the actions of government harbor mistrust and grievances to a more positive form of government where the people have secure methods set in place that guarantee participation in guiding and controlling their elected representatives.

Thank you for taking the time to review some of my ideals for a new and growing Canada. We are a true, north, strong and free Nation. Our Canada.  We will remain a single world family, unique, free and strong among all other nations so long as we retain our rights to govern ourselves and rule over the Government we elect to manage common affairs on our behalf. Canada belongs to all its citizens, all those who have built this great nation, ranking as one of the very best in the world. Let us together ensure we continue to go forward in this progressive civilization by changing our leadership to better reflect our own personal ideals of living.

On the menus in my web site (linked above) are highlighted many of the issues that need to be brought into the open and freely discussed by the Canadian people. We have much to talk about. These important issues regarding our right to rule over our own social and economic affairs of nation life are only being brought forth by the Canadian Action Party. It is time for the people of Canada to take action on these important issues that have been on the minds of the majority of Canadians for several decades.
